Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: I'm a big fan of supporting artists and their work. The art of wood block carving has almost entirely disappeared, and I think this would be a great way to bring attention to this historical art form.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: It would be a beautiful tribute to the films. David Bull is a talented artist and has nothing but the greatest respect for any characters he depicts.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: Your work has had an incredible impact on my family (especially my two now grown-up girls who are 5th generation Japanese-Americans!) I understand why you would be protective of your work, not wanting it to be diminished by those who only care about profit and not the integrity of your art and craft. I believe beyond doubt that David Bull is both an artist and craftsman of the highest degree, and by allowing him (and his apprentices) to transform your artwork into traditional Japanese woodblock prints can only accentuate and in no way dilute your vision of beauty. Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: As a family of Studio Ghibli fans, we would LOVE to be able to collect prints of some of our favorite movies. I appreciate that these prints are done in a traditional Japanese style, and that they are seeking to have them officially licensed, rather than just making them & selling them without permission.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why:

I've been following David Bull's work for quite some time, and the quality of work he and his studio produce are real works of art, worthy of putting Ghibli designs to paper lasting for hundreds of years!

I have been a fan of the artistry of Studio Ghibli for over two decades now and I was very sorry to hear that Mr. David Bull was not given the opportunity to present his outstanding wood cuts to the staff of Studio Ghibli for the purpose of obtaining licensing permission to create wood cuts of some of our beloved Ghibli characters. Mokuhankan wood cuts are works of art in their own right and would represent the artistry of Ghibli in its best light. Please consider granting licensing permission to Mokuhankan. I am certain all would benefit greatly from this agreement.
