Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: David Bull is an artist and craftsman who has dedicated a large portion of his life to the traditional Japanese art form of wood cut prints. With his craftsmanship, and the Ukiyoe Heroes artwork produced with Jed Henry, they have ignited a fire for this artwork across the world. This art is entirely genuine and authentic to traditional methods, updating the subject matter in a way that lifts the awareness out of museums and history books, and brings it to the present, into people's hands, homes, and hearts. In this way, it is like some Studio Ghibli films, in that it is showing the beauty of historical Japan to a wider audience than a simple recitation of dates and places. Studio Ghibli has given me moving artwork depicting Japan's folktales, magic, and imagination, and David Bull is producing another kind of magic, bringing the past alive each time I hold another print in my hands. I feel that the patience, diligence, and awareness to detail that is apparent in every print i have received (as I have been a subscriber to Ukiyoe Heroes for a couple years now) would be a great fit for the Studio Ghibli name. David Bull's art could only elevate your already amazing films, while tying them to a traditional art that has nearly been lost to time. Truly, connecting the past to the present. I hope you will consider his proposal in the spirit in which it is presented, as an homage and a partnership that can only benefit both parties further, in a beautiful merging of modern and traditional arts. Thank you.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: any works from the Studio Ghibli universe are always beautiful works of art, and u-Keiyo heroes wood block prints would only bring an authenticity and craft to enhance that art and give further life to the characters. They have a track record of gorgeous work and are more than experienced enough to represent the characters accurately and originally. Staying true to the core principles and characteristics that make them the works we love so much.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: I love your animations, I find them most beautifull of all. In the same time I'm great fan of Japanese woodblock prints. I'd love to see characters and places from your movies depicted in this technique. I believe Mr. David Bull is the best person to do it.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: I have been in love with Ghibli films for over 20 years, please all David Bull and Makuhankan to produce these prints for you! Traditional woodblock printing will bring these scenes to life and allow collectors, like myself, to have Ghibli fine art to hang on our walls and preserve these for future generations. As an artist myself, I am inspired by other artists and Miyazaki-san has been one of the biggest and continues to inspire me every single day! Please combine that with the talent and inspiration of Mokuhankan and David Bull to make these amazing prints. I would absolutely buy all of them and cherish them forever!!!

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: I love to expose my children to well made, handmade art. They love Studio Ghibli works (when my daughter was 2, she gave us a summary of My Neighbor Totoro starting with "Mei ran." Printmaking also happens to be my newest hobby, so being able to study works by a master in a theme my family already loves would be amazing. Please say yes!
