Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: I love Ghibli films and woodblock prints. I would adore stills from the various films done in this art form. I doubt you could find another person or group other than David Bull and Mokuhankan who could faithfully render the art with such care and exacting standards.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why:

I grew up watching the wonderful anime of Studio Ghibli. Each film opens up a lush, imaginative, and unique world. If Mokuhankan had the opportunity to produce traditional woodblock prints of these animes, it would create something incredibly unique---a fusion of new and old, deep craftsmanship inspired by all the effort and imagination put into each Ghibli film. I really hope this collaboration can happen! Please give Mokuhankan a chance!

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: Ghibli's animation and art style is the quintessential Japanese animation - vibrant, imaginative, and beautiful. It's hard to imagine another medium capturing the unique feeling of Ghibli's art than traditional Japanese woodblock print (after cinema of course!). What better way to keep spreading the joy of both Ghibli films and the art of woodblock prints.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: I have the first 12 ukiyo-e and they are a true testament to drawing and woodblock printing craftmanship. In a millenium of technology and artificial intelligence, it seems necessary to help sustain traditional craftsmanship such as these, plus the team is wonderful, reactive and committed.

Studio Ghibli already serves as a beacon to what defines anime. To see it rendered in one of Japan's most renown art forms almost goes hand in hand!

The fantastic traditional woodblock prints by the talented team at Mokuhankan would complement and celebrate the wonderful work of Studio Ghibli, and as a huge fan of both parties, I would be delighted to be able to own ukiyo-e prints of scenes from Studio Ghibli works!

Please say "yes"!

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: As an American expat living in Japan my whole life, unlike most Americans who grew up watching Disney films, I grew up watching Ghibli films. These animations are my childhood, and every time I watch them (I own nearly all of them) they bring me joy as well as the nostalgic feelings of my childhood. I would love to decorate my home with these cherished memories, but I don't want a cheap computer print. I want carefully crafted art that displays the value of these images. I believe Ghibli Studios working with Mokuhankan will produce items I will treasure for years to come. I am certain I'm not the only to think so.
