Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: I want to believe that Ukiyo-e Heroes possesses the same level of quality and detail that has made me fall in love with most of Ghibli's iconic works. Such a collaboration would be a dream come true.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: I've lived your films and that it is still hand drawn! A collaboration of these two traditional mediums would be amazing

I couldn't think of anything better for merchandising for studio ghibli, its tradition, respectful, and absolutely beautiful. I would have thought Miyuzaki himself would be proud to have prints like these for sale.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: I love both the Studio Ghibli films and the woodblock prints that the Mokuhankan workshop have made. They do such a fabulous job. Having 12 different prints and a wooden box that serves as both storage and stand would be very nice.

Thank you.

Kathleen

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: I adore Ghibli films and would love to be able to express this with artworks around my house. It's difficult to get artwork that depict Ghibli films, especially quality work. These guys do beautiful, inspired pieces and it would be wonderful to see the collaboration there. It would merely compliment Ghibli's tireless efforts to their artform of film by allowing artistic license to this group. Please say yes :)

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: This feels like a true labor of love and very much in the true spirit of Totoro. I would love to have a print of this.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: fantastic stories in traditional Japanese block prints is a perfect combination! The Mokuhankan workshop is known for their fantastic art, and would treat the prints with the respect they deserve.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: This is the perfect marriage of a traditional Japanese craft (woodblock printmaking) and Ghibli Studios animation art. David Bull and Mokuhankan Studios have the skill and respect to make these lovely art pieces. I would treasure them if I was allowed to collect them. Thank you!

Holy moly! This project would be a dream come true! I've been a Ghibli fan for a long time, and relished the opportunity to visit the museum while I was in Tokyo. Ukiyoe Heroes brought me to David and his beautiful work. Its so exciting to see a vanishing artform brought back to life with the dedication and authenticity Mr. Bull has shown for it. Please please please let this collaboration happen so I can further flesh out my Ghibli art collection!

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: Ghibli has always been on the forefront of amazing artwork and storytelling that always has this lovely, hand-crafted feel to it. Your art never fails to impress, and always has a message for all ages to find and learn. As an artist who treasures the traditional medias, immortalizing snippets of your lovely animations (or even scenarios that happen after the film is over) in such a hand-crafted form would not only add a new depth and magic to the scenes, but also keep the art of Ukiyo-e alive for new generations to appreciate! This would absolutely be so magical! Please say yes!! :D

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: It's a fantastic idea! The timeless work if Studio Ghibli would be well represented in the timeless art of wood block printing. These prints will last hundreds of years, just like the work of Ghibli will live on. Thus is the perfect medium to preserve their legacy.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: They will show the magic of Ghibli to more people. David has and will stay faithful to the Ghibli aesthetic.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why:I have been a fan of David Bull's work for quite some time now. Each of his prints are of quality and reflect utmost expertise. Up until recently, I was merely a fan of David's work. That was before I had the pleasure of meeting the man himself. David Bull is a man of integrity, with an unrelenting respect for the culture and history behind Japanese woodblock prints. To agree to a project with David Bull is to ensure that Ghibli's image will be presented with similar respect and integrity. I hope to see future Ghibli prints so that I may be transported back in time when I look upon the artwork. Knowing that the print was created by a team of carver/printers dedicated to preserving the culture of Japanese woodblock prints, I will be reminded of the artistic history of Japan when I look upon the artwork. It will also bring me back to days of my childhood, when My Neighbor Totoro would play repeatedly on the VCR, when I had the dialogue of the Kiki's Delivery Service memorized. Please say 'Yes' to this project, Ghibli, so that your fans around the world can display their love for your animations through a Japanese woodblock print created by respectable master printmaker David Bull!

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: Woodblock prints are an amazing way to recreate the wonderful scenes from Ghibli's most prominent movies. I believe the prints will be true to the standards Ghibli has set for their artwork and the artist truly cares for original source material.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: Woodblock printing is a beautiful Japanese tradition that brings images to life in a unique way. The feel of true woodbock prints is unlike any other art form, and Mokuhankan produces truly quality pieces. Please, let your beautiful films be represented in this beautiful, traditional style. They're a perfect match.

Ghibli, say 'yes' please! Here's why: on my recent trip to Japan I was able to visit the Ghibli Museum. It was such a great place to visit and to experience the art of the studio in a different way. I have also had the experience of woodblock prints created by David Bull and he is seeking to revive (and succeeding) the traditional art of Japanese woodblock prints to a new generation. In a world where true art had given way to mass production, this concept would introduce fans of Studio Ghibli to a whole new form of art and a new way to appreciate their work. I would love to see this happen.
